PcHeal 1.2.14.2011c

PcHeal Editor's Review

This appears to be another example of software which should not be taken seriously. The program is extremely easy to use, as the interface is very simple. It auto-detects your CPU and operating system and you can only choose to push between two buttons: "Go" or "Restore"(in case you already pushed the "Go" button).

You can 'heal' your computer or you can 'heal and boost' your computer. The program queries your hardware components (memory, game adapters, display devices, graphic card, CD/DVD drives, port controllers, root drives, etc.) modifies your settings and prompts you to restart your computer. That's all to it. You can choose to revert to your previous settings, but this operation requires another system restart.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: The thing is that you actually have no idea what the program did to your settings, since no logs have been created or other information displayed. After choosing to heal my system, I didn't actually notice anything changed regarding the OS or installed applications. No difference, whatsoever.

In conclusion: Having no idea what this program does, I so no reason why using it and paying anything in order to use it. However, you can install it and if you find it useful, good for you.
